Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what information LTC.CARDS collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, apps, and related services (including listings, buying/selling, offers, messaging, and account tools).
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Lanzone Trading Company, doing business as “LTC.CARDS” (“LTC,” “LTC.CARDS,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use our services (the “Services”). This Policy applies to Buyers, Sellers, and anyone else who uses the Services.
This Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service and any other policies or disclosures posted on the Services.
2. Definitions

- “Account Data” means information associated with your LTC account (e.g., username, contact details, security settings).
- “Transaction Data” means information about purchases, sales, offers, payments, payouts, shipping, and disputes.
- “Content” means text, images, listings, messages, reviews, and other materials submitted through the Services.
- “Service Providers” means vendors that process payments, provide hosting, analytics, security, support tooling, and other operational services on our behalf.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Account information: name, username, email, password, phone (if provided), and account preferences.
- Profile and seller details: display name, business name (if used), return/shipping settings, and other seller configuration.
- Listings and marketplace activity: listing titles/descriptions, item condition details, photos, pricing, offers/bids, and order messages.
- Shipping information: shipping address, delivery preferences, and tracking details needed to fulfill orders.
- Support communications: information you share with us in support requests or dispute communications.
- Phone verification and text messaging consent: if you choose to verify your phone number or opt in to receive text messages from LTC, we may collect your mobile number, the date/time and source of your opt-in, records showing the language presented at opt-in, verification status, HELP/STOP requests, and delivery or failure events related to those messages.
3.5 Phone verification, one-time codes, and SMS consent records
LTC may offer phone verification, account security codes, login verification, order-related text notifications, or other limited text messaging features. When you voluntarily enter your number and explicitly consent in the applicable flow, we may send text messages related to that feature. Message frequency may vary depending on your activity and can be as limited as one message per verification or login attempt.
We maintain records of SMS opt-in activity and related system events to support account security, operational troubleshooting, abuse prevention, compliance reviews, and proof of consent where needed.
3.2 Payments and payouts
If you buy or sell on LTC, payment-related information is processed to complete your transaction and/or payouts. Payment card data is typically handled directly by our payment processor(s) in a PCI-compliant manner.
- Buyer payments: transaction amount, payment status, and limited payment metadata (we do not need to store full card numbers).
- Seller payouts: payout destination details (e.g., bank account details or other payout method information), payout status, and payout history.
- Fee and subscription records: marketplace fees, processing fees, and billing records (if applicable).
3.3 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, actions taken, and timestamps.
- Log and security data: authentication events, error logs, and security signals used for abuse and fraud detection.
- Cookies and similar technologies: to maintain sessions, remember settings, and help us understand how the Services are used.
3.4 Information from other sources
We may receive information from Service Providers (for example, payment confirmation, fraud signals, chargeback notices, shipping/tracking events, or identity verification results where required for payouts or risk controls).
4. How We Use Information
We use information to operate, improve, and protect the Services, including to:
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and provide customer support.
- Facilitate listings, offers/bids, orders, payments, and payouts.
- Provide marketplace features such as messaging between Buyers and Sellers.
- Prevent fraud, detect abuse, investigate suspicious activity, and enforce our Terms and policies.
- Process disputes, returns, refunds, and chargebacks; and maintain marketplace integrity.
- Comply with legal obligations (e.g., recordkeeping, tax reporting, responding to lawful requests).
- Measure performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve site reliability and user experience.
- Send service communications (order updates, security alerts, account notices) and, if you opt in where required, marketing messages.
- Send phone verification codes, multi-factor authentication codes, account recovery messages, and other consent-based text messages related to account security or platform operations.
4.1 Text messaging purpose and consent
If you choose to verify a phone number or otherwise opt in to receive text messages from LTC, you consent to receive the types of messages described at the time of opt-in, such as phone verification codes, account security messages, or limited account-related notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from LTC unless the text message itself is required to complete a security step you requested (for example, asking us to send a one-time verification code). You can opt out of non-essential recurring text messages by replying STOP where supported, and you can request help by replying HELP where supported.
5. How We Share Information
5.1 With other users (marketplace sharing)
Because LTC is a marketplace, certain information must be shared between Buyers and Sellers to complete transactions. For example:
- Order fulfillment: Seller receives Buyer shipping details needed to ship an order.
- Order communication: Buyers and Sellers may see each other’s order-related messages and transaction status.
- Public-facing content: listing content you post (e.g., item photos/descriptions) may be visible to other Users and the public.
5.2 With service providers
We share information with Service Providers who perform services for us, such as payment processing, payouts, hosting, analytics, security monitoring, customer support tooling, email delivery, and SMS/phone verification delivery. These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to LTC.
SMS opt-in data and consent records are not sold to third parties and are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share that information only with vendors and carriers that help us deliver, support, log, or audit our messaging services.
5.3 For legal, compliance, and protection
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or lawful requests; to enforce our Terms; to detect or prevent fraud or security incidents; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LTC, our Users, or the public.
5.4 Business transfers
If LTC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
6. Taxes and Reporting
Transaction-related records may be used to calculate, collect, and remit applicable transaction taxes where required or where LTC elects to do so. We may also be required to collect tax information, issue tax forms, and report transactions to tax authorities. Sellers remain responsible for taxes on their income and business activity, except for transaction taxes LTC collects/remits where applicable.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Preferences
7.1 Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and improve the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit functionality.
7.2 Analytics
We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the Services and to improve performance and features. These tools may collect usage data such as page views, clicks, and session events.
7.3 Marketing communications
Where permitted, we may send marketing communications. You can opt out using an “unsubscribe” link or by contacting us. Transactional messages (e.g., order updates, security notices) will still be sent.
7.4 Text message preferences
If LTC offers recurring SMS programs, the opt-in location will identify the LTC brand/program, describe the type of text messages being sent, state the expected message frequency (or that frequency varies), provide customer care contact information, include opt-out instructions, and disclose that message and data rates may apply. You can manage text message participation through the opt-in flow, by using supported keyword commands such as STOP or HELP where enabled, or by contacting contact@ltc.cards.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal certain decisions.
- Account settings: you can update certain profile details in your account settings.
- Marketing: opt out of marketing emails as described above.
- Requests: contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights.
To make a request, email contact@ltc.cards. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
9. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type:
- Account and transaction records: retained as needed for operations and legal/tax/compliance requirements.
- Messages and support: may be retained to support disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain records.
- Logs/security signals: retained for security, auditing, and troubleshooting.
- Anonymized/aggregated data: may be retained longer, as it does not identify you.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for using a strong password.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not intended for individuals under 18 (or the age of majority where they live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact contact@ltc.cards.
12. International Data Transfers
LTC is based in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the U.S. and other locations where our Service Providers operate. These locations may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted with an updated Effective/Last Updated date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (e.g., email or in-product notice). Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
